About James (Jim) Butera

A Ceramic Engineer from Penn State, Jim initially worked as a development engineer before returning to a family apparel manufacturing business. He successfully ran the business consisting of four facilities and over 200 employees for 12 years, eventually selling the business in the mid 1980’s and migrating into the software technology arena. For years Jim was associated with prominent CAD software companies and in the early 1990’s Jim’s career expanded outside the apparel industry and into the Enterprise Software world with New York City based Computer Generated Solutions, and eventually PeopleSoft and JBA. Jim has additional formal sales training having taken the highly regarded “Solution Selling” and “The Complex Sale” courses.
